Mark

Mark is a beautiful guy with a great heart.  He's Mr. January in the 2010 Bare Chest Calendar benefits the Aids Emergency Fund.  I've been the photographer for the calendar for the past 2 years and will be highlighting the men in the coming weeks.

The Roots of bigotry

Passages from the bible have been wielded like a weapon to justify hatred and bigotry towards Gays and Lesbians, women, minorities or just simple non-believers. While the voices of the most vehement haters are the most obvious, I think there are millions of people who are unaware of where their prejudices come from.
This image is from a series of photos I did that explores the roots of bigotry..

My first blog post

Thank you for checking out my blog.  I started this blog to have a more 'free-form' way of presenting my work with men.   I thought for this first posting, I would start out featuring my very dear friend and one of the great loves in my life.  Daniel is a personal trainer here in San Francisco and it took me a few years to convince him to let me shoot him. This was one of my favorite shoots.
